The two companies have decided to establish a new joint venture and are expected to complete the integration of their process automation products by the end of the year
German sensor company SICK and Swiss measurement and automation technology expert Endress+Hauser have officially established a strategic partnership. The global sales and service team for SICK's process analyzers and gas flow meters will be taken over by Endress+Hauser Group, forming a new joint venture to carry out production activities and be responsible for future product research and development. Both parties hope to provide better support services to customers through cooperation, help them improve efficiency, and promote and achieve sustainable development.
Newly established joint venture company responsible for product research and development as well as production
The joint venture company will be responsible for the production and subsequent development of process analyzers and gas flow meters from 2025, with each party holding 50% of the company's shares. It is expected that 730 employees will work in multiple production plants in Germany. The joint venture company will closely cooperate with Endress+Hauser Technology Center to fully promote product innovation and development.
At present, both parties are making every effort to ensure a seamless and smooth handover of business by the end of the year. Prior to this, SICK and Endress+Hauser will continue to provide support services for their respective process automation clients.
